Costa del Sol VillasThe Costa del Sol, literally meaning the Coast of the Sun, runs for 150 kilometres along the southern coast of Spain's Andalusian region, from Almeria to Tarifa. Fine sandy beaches are lapped by the warm gentle waters of the Mediterranean and over the latter part of the 20th century its fishing villages have gradually transformed into popular holiday destinations. Flights for this area land at Malaga airport, just 10 minutes outside the city centre, and most popular destinations on the Costa del Sol such as Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Marbella can be reached within half an hour or so. Our villas in the Costa del Sol are situated in the more exclusive resorts of Mijas, Nerja and La Vinuela - areas that have retained their Andalucian charm with geraniums tumbling down the walls of pretty whitewashed houses. Our Costa del Sol villas are hidden gems in the hills with private pools and stunning panoramic sea and mountain views, the perfect place for you relax and yet most are within a short car ride of the restaurants, shops and sandy beaches this region is famous for. This area of Spain is known for its high quality golf courses, many within easy reach of our Costa del Sol villas, the highest concentration is around Marbella with its reputation as a playground for the rich and famous. For nightlife and tourist attractions the coastal towns can provide you with everything from safari parks to water parks and Puerto Marina and Marbella's Puerto Banus have the hip nightspots to see and be seen in. Away from the bright lights you'll find our stylish Costa del Sol villas, such as the 5-bedroom Villa Serenity in Mijas. A mere 25 minutes from Malaga you'll certainly enjoy some stunning sunsets whilst dining on its hilltop terrace. Perched high above Fuengirola, Mijas is set amidst a lush wooded mountainside. Explore this pretty Spanish village by donkey taxi, or explore the nearby countryside on horseback. You can browse the shops selling local handicrafts or tee up at one of seven golf courses in the area. The nearby Mijas Costa has the water sports as well as the Blue Flag beaches at La Cala, these are some of the best in the area. All these amenities are within easy reach of our Costa del Sol villas in Mijas. A mere 55 minutes from Malaga, Nerja is another perfectly placed location we have found for our Costa del Sol villas. The ancient city of Granada is just over an hour away and you can be on the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada in half an hour. Our Villa Bueno, a stylish 2-bedroom villa with a Mexican themed interior, nestles on the hillside above Nerja, which is famous for the primitive cave paintings discovered in its limestone hills in 1959. It remains relatively unspoiled with cobbled streets lined with white washed houses it's a great place for you to try some of the wonderful tapas this region is known for. A winding footpath from Nerja leads you to some pretty coves; Nerja is also the scuba diving centre for the Costa del Sol and a wonderful area for walking especially though the mountains.
