Important Holiday Information

Your Holiday Rental Includes
• Accommodation as specified
• All bed linen and towels (but not beach towels)
• Mid-fortnight change of bed linen & towels
• Reasonable use of gas, water & electricity
• All taxes including VAT
Your Holiday Rental Excludes

• Returnable Breakage deposit
• Air-conditioning charge of £45 per week pre-paid, except where otherwise specified. In Cyprus supplement is paid locally, guide price €5 per unit per day.

Costing Your Holiday

• On the villa page, hover over the availability calendar and you will see a Daily and/or a Weekly rate. For weekly durations simply take the weekly rental price as detailed, adding any required extras such as cot, high chair, welcome pack etc. For flexible durations over a week, just multiply the daily rate. For durations shorter than 7 days, there is a premium added. You can get a quote by clicking into the start date and then entering the required duration on the next screen.
• All bookings are confirmed in GB Pounds Sterling. Any quote in an alternative "display currency" is for guidance only. The Sterling price will apply when making the booking online.
• A deposit of 25% will secure your booking and your holiday balance will be divided into two equal payments – the first due three months after booking and the second ten weeks before departure (if these dates overlap, one balance payment will be due ten weeks before departure). A returnable breakage deposit will be added to your invoice. A handling charge will apply to payments made by card: 2% on credit card transactions, £1 per transaction on debit cards.

Villa Tenancies

• Villa tenancies begin at 16.00 hours on the day of arrival and end at 10.00 hours on the day of departure. Whilst we will always try to be flexible, this is often not possible, so we recommend that you arrange your flights in line with these times. Any early arrival or late departure must be pre-arranged by the owner/local agent.

Party Make-up

• Many villa owners do not permit large single sex parties or groups wholly made up of adults under 25 years old, so please discuss your party make-up with a sales consultant before booking. If the party make-up is acceptable, this will be clearly detailed on your Confirmation & Advice of Reservation to ensure no problems are encountered on arrival at the villa.

Under-occupancy Rentals

• On occasions we are able to reduce the weekly rental price during the low & mid seasons, for couples or smaller groups. On such bookings it is normal that not all bedrooms will be prepared or made available. Please enquire whether this is possible on the villa you are interested in.

Villa Capacity and Extra Person Supplements

• Occupancy levels must be strictly adhered to in line with those detailed in each villa description. Some properties are able to accommodate an extra person and, with the owner's permission, an extra folding bed (or similar) can be provided at a charge of £10 per day to cover additional rental & laundry costs. Such properties will be indicated with a "+" on the villa description. eg. Sleeps 6+1.

Refundable Breakage Deposit

• On behalf of our owners a standard breakage deposit is added to your accommodation invoice and is reclaimable on your return. A deduction will be made for any reported breakages or excessive use of electricity etc. Careful use of outside lights & air-conditioning together with replacement of damaged items is strongly encouraged.

France/Italy - £350

Health & Safety

• We are very conscious that a successful holiday must also be a safe holiday. VillaCentre has a health & safety policy that is carefully monitored and measured by a proven risk assessment programme.
• Inoculations are not required in any of our destinations, although we would urge clients with any concerns to consult their GP prior to booking.

Holiday Extras

• We are able to arrange an optional welcome pack in most properties (except France & Italy) to provide a light snack & refreshments on arrival. Cost: £30.00

• Cots (Excluding Linen): can be arranged at a cost of £19 per week
• High chairs: can be arranged at a cost of £12 per week

Maintaining Your Villa

• In order to maintain standards the owner/agent must arrange a regular schedule for people to clean the pool, attend the garden and carry out minor repairs throughout the season. We would appreciate your cooperation in allowing reasonable access to trades people during your stay.
• Local services can be temperamental and it is not uncommon to have the occasional water or electricity cut, particularly during the height of the summer.

Local Contact

• VillaCentre provide flexible holidays for the independent traveller and generally our clients do not expect a visiting representative service. All areas have a point of contact to assist with any accommodation issues or problems that may arise, which if unresolved should be reported immediately. It is imperative that any complaints are reported and addressed locally, since if you fail to do so, we are unable to entertain claims after your return home.

Cancellations
• Cancellation by you – This refers to the accommodation only, since all other components are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant supplier, ie. flights, car hire etc. Any cancellation of villa accommodation must be advised in writing and sent by recorded delivery. The following cancellation charges will apply.

* More than 90 days before rental period – Deposit only
* 89-60 days before rental period – 60%
* 59-30 days before rental period – 80%
* 29 days or less before rental period – 100%

• Alterations by us – In the unlikely event of us having to alter your accommodation booking for reasons beyond our control, we reserve the right to do so. We will automatically endeavour to resolve the situation by offering alternative accommodation, but cannot always guarantee this. In any event VillaCentre will only ever be obliged to refund all monies paid if alternative accommodation cannot be found. VillaCentre will not be responsible for any further liability, including cost of travel etc.

Satellite TV

• Following the change from analogue to a digital service across Europe, most satellite TVs will only offer limited English-speaking channels. Unless specifically stated, UK channels are not guaranteed. Normal TVs will only ever have foreign channels.

Villa Descriptions

All villa descriptions are intended to be clear and informative. For the purpose of clarity:

• All distances detailed in villa descriptions are intended to be a guideline only and are measured by the approximate driving time by car (not withstanding seasonal traffic), unless otherwise stated.
• All villas are equipped with fridge and cooking facilities
• Bathrooms: whether bath or shower, the term "bathroom" may be used
• Airports: the most appropriate airports in order of convenience/flight availability

If you have special requirements, please discuss with our sales team before booking.

Pets

• Pets of any kind are not permitted at our villas, unless otherwise specified on a villa description. Even when pets are permitted, please always inform us before booking.

Travel Advice
• For the most up to date and accurate information on matters that may affect your holiday, e.g. epidemics or terrorist activity, please refer to the Commonwealth Office Travel Advice webpage, or news updates on BBC Ceefax page 470.
