British film to be celebrated in Dinard |
Visitors from the UK staying in holiday villas in Brittany in October will be able to learn all about the cult following of British film in France at a festival in Dinard.
The 19th British Film Festival will be held at Dinard's Palais des Arts from October 2nd to 5th.
Festival passes will cost 60 (£47) and single film showings will be priced at 5.
The programme of screenings will include comedy documentary A Complete History of My Sexual Failures and drama Boy A starring Andrew Garfield.
One of the highlights of this year's festival will be a showing of Man on Wire, a documentary by British director James Marsh following Philippe Petit's daring attempt to perform a tightrope walk between the towers of the World Trade Center.
People on villa holidays in Brittany will notice plenty of reminders of British heritage if they pay a visit to Dinard, including streets named after figures such as George V and Winston Churchill.
