Cyprus airport shuttle proves a success |
People taking villa holidays in Cyprus and residents of the island have helped turn a new airport shuttle service into a success, according to reports.
The bus service has been operating from Larnaca airport since July 14th and in that time has carried around 16,000 passengers.
Pambos Kapnos, the owner of the airport shuttle service, said passenger response had been "very good" and comments were "more than positive", reports the Cyprus Mail.
He added: "The offer of 5 for a comfortable airport transfer in a fully air-conditioned bus with no extra cost for luggage and a free parking space is very enticing."
Mr Kapnos said that a large number of tourists are showing a preference for the shuttle service and are gaining information about the provision online and at the arrivals area of the airport.
Larnaca is the main airport handling arrivals in Cyprus, although people planning villa holidays on the island can also fly to the popular coastal location of Paphos.
