Discover a visionary of theatre in Rome |
Visitors to Rome over the coming month will be able to learn more about the visionary artist and creator Beni Montresor.
Montresor has worked as a director, a costume and set designer, a writer, an illustrator and more over the years and now occupies an illustrious position of respect on the international theatre scene.
The Times has described his stage work as "enchanting", while Paris' Le Monde once called him a "visionary poet".
Holidaymakers can make up their own mind by visiting an exhibition of Montresor's work at Rome's Casa dei Teatri before June 1st.
The display includes sketches, drawings, photos and costumes created by the artist, all of which were made for the Italian capital's Teatro dell'Opera.
Visitors on villa holidays in Rome will find Casa dei Teatri which is dedicated to exploring the history and also securing the future of the theatre in Rome in the historic Villino Corsini in Villa Pamphili.
