Enjoy the City of Granada Orchestra |
People staying in Costa del Sol villas this spring can visit the city of Granada to enjoy a performance by the local orchestra.
The City of Granada Orchestra's 2007-08 season has been running at the Manuel de Falla Auditorium since September last year.
It will come to an end on May 18th after focusing on a broad range of symphony concerts and educational performances, ranging from Mozart's Symphony in G Minor to works by Weber and Schubert.
In April, people on villa holidays in Spain can enjoy the City of Granada Orchestra's renditions of works by Grieg, Elgar, Britten, Ravel and many more.
Granada, which is located close to Spain's south coast near popular locations such as Malaga and Almeria, is part of the Andalusia region.
It is home to a number of significant works of architecture, including the Alhambra palace and fortress complex, the Palace of Charles V and Granada Cathedral, which was designed at the peak of the Spanish Renaissance.
