Few weeks left to visit Brittany park |
People staying in holiday villas in Brittany over the coming weeks should be sure to pay a visit to the Parc de Prehistoire if they want to see the park before it closes for the winter.
The attraction will have limited opening hours until November 11th before closing its doors, not to open again until spring next year.
Brittany's Parc de Prehistoire is an ideal option for a family day out, with a number of dinosaur-themed attractions sure to keep younger visitors happy.
Full-scale models of prehistoric beasts are located all over the 25-hectare site, including the armoured stegosaurus, the fearsome tyrannosaurus rex and the giant but herbivorous brachiosaurus.
The park also recreates the existence of homo erectus, one of the earliest species of human, and how their lives may have been in the region that is now known as Brittany.
People staying in holiday villas in Brittany will find the park about two kilometres outside the medieval village of Rochefort-en-Terre.
