French Riviera 'has special atmosphere' |
The French Riviera has a unique atmosphere that holidaymakers and foreign investors will not find anywhere else, according to a real estate industry spokesman.
As well as being a popular location for people taking villa holidays, France is a major market for investors in foreign property.
Nick Dowlatshahi, managing director of Leapfrog Properties, said that the traditionally strong destinations are Paris and the Riviera, or the Cote d'Azur as it is known in French.
One of the most important factors in the success of these locations is their tourism industries.
Mr Dowlatshahi said that the Riviera has a number of attributes that make it a popular location for people staying in villas in France, including its numerous beaches, range of landmarks and attractions and excellent transport system.
The area also boasts the characteristics that are so often associated with France good food, wine and culture and is easily accessible from the UK.
Brits considering villa holidays on the French Riviera can fly to Nice and Marseille with easyJet and to the same destinations, as well as Toulon and Montpellier, with Ryanair.
