Head to Brittany for a festive fair |
Brits on villa holidays in Brittany in December will be able to get well and truly into the Christmas spirit at a festive fair in the town of Brest.
The market will be held in the Place de la Liberte from December 1st to 24th and is completely free to enter.
Visitors will be able to browse through a broad variety of arts, crafts, souvenirs and gifts presented by more than 40 stallholders.
The festive atmosphere will be boosted by the town's choral society, who will give renditions of popular Christmas carols, and there will be plenty of tasty French food and mulled wine, or 'vin chaud', on offer.
People taking villa holidays in Brittany who pay a visit to Brest will have the opportunity to explore a town that is proud of its maritime heritage and boasts a number of attractions that represent its history.
One of the newest additions to the town's tourist scene is Oceanopolis, which boasts three aquariums and a 3-D cinema.
