July Sounds Good in Rome |
Music fans enjoying villa holidays in Rome over the coming weeks will have no shortage of shows and concerts to keep them entertained.
From June 24th until July 30th, the Italian capital will host July Sounds Good – or Luglio Suona Bene in the local tongue – a series of open-air concerts.
The festival will kick off this month with a show by Alanis Morissette on June 24th.
Plenty more stars will visit Rome to entertain the crowds over the following weeks, including Youssou N'Dour on July 5th, Erykah Badu on the following day and Daniele Silvestri on July 7th.
Sinead O'Connor will perform on July 8th as part of her Theology tour, followed by Sigur Ros on July 12th and Rufus Wainwright on July 18th.
July Sounds Good will be brought to a close by a host of stars performing between July 25th and 30th, including Bjork, Leonard Cohen, Paul Simon and Giovanni Allevi.
People on villa holidays in Rome will find the concerts at the city's Parco della Musica to the north of the city.
