Lions Club of Loule to host another fair
The Lions Club of Loule, a charity that hosts regular fundraising and social events that people staying in Algarve villas can attend, has celebrated the success of its last sale and confirmed another fair next month.

Some €735 (£571) was raised from the last charity sale and the next event will be held on November 2nd at the Centro Comunitario in Almancil, the Portugal News reports.

Visitors will be able to pick up a range of souvenirs of their visit to the Algarve, including local bric-a-brac, clothes, linen, books and shoes.

Another event being organised by the Lions Club of Loule is an exhibition of the paintings and writing of Mirianela de Vasconcelos, a Lions member who sadly passed away in 2007.

People staying in Algarve villas will be able to attend this display for a month from February 14th 2009 at the Convento Espirito Santo.

Visitors to Portugal's Algarve region will have plenty to see and do if they pay a visit to Loule, with a weekly fair held in the town that attracts tourists from all over the region as well as an annual carnival in February.
