New flight to Brittany launched |
Londoners hoping to stay in a Brittany villa this summer will now be able to fly direct from Gatwick Airport to Nantes.
This week, low-cost airline easyjet has launched a new service from the London airport to the French city in the centre of Brittany.
Available from £23.99 one way including tax, the new route is expected to encourage more travellers book holiday villas in the pretty French region this summer.
Located in the Loire region of western France, Nantes is a popular destination for travellers thanks to its warm summers and green spaces - boasting 1,000 hectares of parklands.
David Osborne, easyJet's UK general manager, said: "easyJet has seen a huge increase in flights to great short-break destinations this year, reinforcing easyJet's position as the favourite airline for independent travellers, providing convenient low-cost flights from your local airport."
Brittany is also ideal for those who love the outdoors, with the countryside offering up a beautiful landscape perfect for exploring by bike or foot.
