Sample the Costa del Sol's best cuisine |
Lovers of Mediterranean food who will be visiting Costa del Sol villas this month should ensure they head to the town of Mijas for the Food Week festival.
This event will run from November 17th to 21st at the main hall of the CIO-Mijas venue.
The range of delicacies set to be served up for this year's festival will include carrot, celery and crab salad with gazpacho and avocado; Thai soup with prawns; oxtail croquettes with violet jelly and many other dishes.
Chefs from a number of top restaurants will be involved in the event, preparing meals for everyone to see at the CIO-Mijas.
The food will then be served at El Jardin de la Cala, the venue's restaurant, along with the best wines from the range of wineries that will be participating in the festival.
People planning villa holidays on the Costa del Sol will be able to pick up tickets for Food Week for €30 (£24).
