The town of Bandol will be an essential location to visit for wine lovers planning villa holidays in Provence around December 7th.
Since 1982, the Bandol Wine Festival has been held on the first Sunday of every December and welcomes consumers, gastronomes and wine professionals from across France and the world.
According to its organisers, this event is "not just another fair" but more a "unique meeting" of wine enthusiasts and winemakers.
One of the aspects of the festival that makes it popular is the particular grape variety used for Bandol wine – the Mourvedre.
