Voiles de Saint-Tropez to sail into Provence |
Foreign visitors staying in holiday villas in Provence at the end of September will be able to enjoy a unique sample of life in Saint-Tropez as the town hosts a top sailing event.
Voiles de Saint-Tropez will take place from September 27th until October 5th.
This event started out as a traditional sailing competition but has evolved into a week-long festival that includes a classic yacht race and a modern regatta.
The final stage of the European Prada Challenge for classic yachts at Saint-Tropez is one of the most popular parts of the festival, with ships arriving from Monaco to compete against one another in the picturesque bay.
Saint-Tropez is located on the French Riviera and is known for regularly playing host to famous and wealthy people from around the world.
